It’s time for celebrations for Agraria Riva del Garda’s winery, for only after four months from the beginning of the year it sees the superior quality of its wines confirmed. San Michele all’Adige’s Concorso Enotecnico valorizzazione vini territorio recognized two vintages of Loré as the best in their respective categories: Loré 2016 won the first place in the category of 2015 and 2016 Trentino DOP Chardonnay vintages, Loré 2017 the first place in the category of 2017 and 2018 Trentino DOP Chardonnay vintages. In addition, there are the stellar scores got by Gère 2015 and Maso Élesi 2016 during 5StarWines, Vinitaly’s annual wine selection: both obtained 90 out of 100 points.
Vinitaly was also an opportunity for sharing our extra virgin olive oils’ achievements with fans and insiders alike. 46° Parallelo Monovarietale was awarded the 5 Gocce Bibenda 2019 and Monocultivar Olive Oil Expo 2019’s gold medal. Its sibling 46° Parallelo Biologico was the runner-up at Ercole Olivario in the category of light fruity olive oils. Remarkable results also for Uliva, which was included in Gambero Rosso’s guide Oli d’Italia 2019, with the title of the year’s best medium fruity olive oil. The list goes on with the achievements obtained at Aipo d’Argento: 46° Parallelo Biologico won the first prize in the category of organic medium fruity olive oils, Uliva won the third prize in the category of DOP/IGP organic medium fruity olive oil. We should also mention the prizes and the commendations given by some of the most important olive oil competitions: Slow Food, Sol d’Oro, Orciolo d’Oro, Sorrento’s Sirena d’Oro.
Agraria Riva del Garda’s succecces extend far beyond the national territory. This year Uliva conquered both sides of the Pacific Ocean by winning Japan Olive Oil Prize’s gold medal and Los Angeles International Olive Oil Competition’s bronze medal.
With so many prizes and awards celebration it’s mandatory; Agraria’s willingness, however, is to stickto the company goal: give life to products that satisfy the consumer’s needs and enhance the features of the territory. In the hope of be–to use the words of the journalist Stefano Polacchi (Gambero Rosso)–a case in point and a role model.
